Underground Blossom Chapter 6 | Soul Street

Hello everyone and welcome to the sixth chapter of our walkthrough for the “Underground Blossom” a puzzle-solving game developed by Rusty Lake – one of the most famous game developers in puzzle puzzle-solving genre. In this game, we follow Laura’s life, and the story in this part continues at “Soul Street” station. At this point in time, Laura is represented as a dark shadow. So, she is probably having some problems with her mental health, because that’s how Robert was portrayed in the “White Door” while he was dealing with his mental health issues.

Tap on the train door to open it, and tap again to go to the first room. Here, we can see an electricity control panel on the left, and we can also see a dark shadowy pile in the middle of the room. This darkness represents Laura’s dark soul, and it currently doesn’t have a humanoid form.

We will come back to the first room a bit later. For now, let’s tap on the arrow on the right to proceed to the next room.

In this room, we can see another puzzle on the wall on the right. Let’s tap on it to take a closer look.

Let’s examine this puzzle. Here, we can see 6 white stones, and all of them are pointing in a certain direction. We can also see a larger grid with black slots. In the top right corner of the grid, we can see a black slot and a white circle around it. This circle represents the “finish line”. The black slot in the top left corner is the starting position.

So, once you place one of the stones into the slot in the top left, a dark butterfly will fly out of the slot, and it will fly in the direction of a stone, towards the next slot. With that said, our task is to bring the butterfly to the finish line (top right slot). The grid has rows, with 10 slots in each row (although some slots are missing).

We will do this puzzle in several steps. Let’s begin.

Step 1

If you take a look at the sixth slot in the first row, you will notice a white stone pointing down and to the left. Let’s take this stone and put it into the first slot in the first row (top left corner).

The butterfly will fly down and to the left, into the second hole in the second row.

Step 2

If you take a look at the seventh slot in the fourth row, you will notice a white stone pointing down. Let’s take this stone and put it into the second slot in the second row.

The butterfly will fly down, into the second hole in the third row.

Step 3

If you take a look at the seventh slot in the first row, you will notice a white stone pointing down. Let’s take this stone and put it into the second slot in the fourth row.

The butterfly will fly down, into the second hole in the fifth row.

Step 4

If you take a look at the first slot in the fifth row, you will notice a white stone pointing to the right. Let’s take this stone and put it into the second slot in the fifth row.

The butterfly will fly to the right, into the third hole in the fifth row.

Step 5

If you take a look at the third slot in the third row, you will notice a white stone pointing to the right. Let’s take this stone and put it into the third slot in the fifth row.

The butterfly will fly to the right, into the ninth hole in the fifth row.

Step 6

If you take a look at the sixth slot in the third row, you will notice a white stone pointing up. Let’s take this stone and put it into the ninth slot in the fifth row.

The butterfly will fly up, into the ninth hole in the second row.

Step 7

If you take a look at the fifth slot in the first row, you will notice a white stone pointing up and to the right. Let’s take this stone and put it into the ninth slot in the second row.

The butterfly will fly to the right, into the tenth hole in the first row, and we will reach the finish line.

As soon as you complete the last step, the butterfly will fly out of the hole in the top right corner, and it will fly off in an unknown direction. We should now look for it.

Tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s proceed. Tap twice on the arrow on the right to proceed to the next room.

Next, to the lockers on the left, we can see a crowbar. Tap on the lockers to take a closer look at them, then tap on the “Crowbar” to pick it up.

We will come back to the lockers a bit later. For now, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the first room. Tap on the arrow on the right.

We can now see a butterfly flying above the dark pile. Let’s tap on the pile to take a closer look at it.

Tap on the dark pile to start the interaction. A shadowy hand will reach out from the pile and it will catch the butterfly.

Tap on the pile again and it will turn into humanoid form (Laura’s dark soul).

The dark soul will say that it remembers the butterfly and this memory helped it to turn back into the humanoid form. She will ask you to help her and to find her mother’s timepiece. If you recall, way back at the first station, Laura’s mother gave you the timepiece and said that it was very important. However, some strange guy robbed us and took the timepiece.

After that, she will offer you a key. Tap on it to pick it up, and a “Locker key” will be added to your inventory.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the room with lockers. Tap on the arrow on the left.

Tap on the lockers to take a closer look. Select the “Locker key” from the inventory and use it to unlock locker number 7. After that, tap on the locker to open it.

In the locker, you will find “Pincers” so let’s tap on them to pick them up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the room in which we found the puzzle with the stones. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

Just to the left of the stone puzzle, you will notice a locked door. Tap on the door to take a closer look at it.

Select the “Pincers” from the inventory and use it to cut the lock. After that, tap on the door to open it.

It looks like there’s a man sitting on the chair in the small room. Tap on him to take a closer look.

Here, we can see a shady character who robbed us, and he is tied to a chair, and his mouth is taped. Tap on his mouth to take a closer look.

Drag the tape on his mouth from right to left to remove it. Our character will take the “Piece of tape” and it will be added to your inventory.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Next, just to the left of the door, you will notice a brown box. Let’s take a closer look at it.

Select the “Crowbar” from the inventory and use it to open the box.

In the box, you will find a “Locker key” so let’s tap on it to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

On the locker key, we saw a label number 6. So, let’s go back to the room with lockers and unlock locker number 6. Tap twice on the arrow on the left.

Tap on the lockers to take a closer look. Select the “Locker key” (number 6) from the inventory and use it to unlock locker number 6. After that, tap on the locker to open it.

In the locker, you will find a “Bucket”. Tap on it to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

In this room, you will also notice a red barrel on the right. Tap on it to take a closer look.

Select the “Crowbar” from the inventory and use it to punch a hole in the barrel.

The oil will leak out from the hole in the barrel. Next, select the “Lighter” from the inventory and use it to set the oil on fire.

The barrel will explode. So, let’s tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

If you look at the cable above the electricity control panel, you will notice that it is broken. Tap on it to take a closer look.

Select the “Piece of tape” from the inventory and use it to reconnect the cable. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Before we proceed, let’s examine the cable that leads into the room on the left. Starting from the electricity control panel, we can see that the cable goes “Up” at the first intersection, “Up” again at the second intersection, and turns “Left” when it gets close to the ceiling.

Let’s memorize/write down this information. Up/Up/Left.

Once you’re done, tap on the electricity control panel to take a closer look at it.

Tap on the panel to remove the cover.

Here, we can see five switches. We already know that the cable goes Up/Up/Left. So, let’s set the switches to these positions.

So, the first switch (looking from left to right) should point “Up”, the second switch should also point “Up” and the last switch should point to the “Left”.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the previous room. Tap on the arrow on the left.

We set the switches in the previous room and reconnected the cable, and with that, we restored the power to the box on the wall in this room. So, let’s tap on the box to take a closer look at it.

Tap and hold on the button in the top right corner to open the box.

In the box you will find a “Valve” so tap on it to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the room with the shady character. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

On the right side of the room, you will see a water pipe. Tap on it to take a closer look.

You will notice an empty slot on the pipe. So, select the “Valve” from the inventory and insert it into the empty slot. Next, tap on the valve to turn on the water.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

We can now see some water on the floor. Tap on the water to take a closer look at it.

Select the “Bucket” from the inventory and fill it with water. “Bucket with water” will be added to your inventory.

Once you’re done tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Well, our next task is to force the shady character to tell us the location of the “Timepiece” (which he previously stole from us). So, let’s tap on him to take a closer look.

If you tap on the shady character, he will tell you “I have nothing to say to you”. Well, let’s try to change his mind. Select the “Bucket with water” from the inventory and pour the water down, on his head.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Tap on the water on the floor to take a closer look at it. After that, select the “Bucket” from the inventory and fill it with water. “Bucket with water” will be added to your inventory.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

We can use the water to put out the fire that we started when we blew up the barrel of oil. So, tap twice on the arrow on the left to go back to the room with fire.

Tap on the fire to take a closer look at it. Select the “Bucket with water” from the inventory and use it to extinguish the fire.

Once you extinguish the fire, you will notice an “Iron wire” sticking out from the ash pile. So, tap on the “Iron wire” to pick it up.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Ok, let’s go back to the previous room and fill the bucket again. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the water to take a closer look. Select the “Bucket” from the inventory and fill it with water.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s proceed to the next room. Tap on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the water drain hole to take a closer look at it.

Select the “Crowbar” from the inventory and use it to open the water drainage.

Next, select the “Water bucket” from the inventory and pour the water into the hole.

The water will fill the hole, and on the surface of the water you will notice a “Clothespin”. Tap on it to pick it up.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the room with the shady character. Tap on the arrow on the left.

Tap on the shady character to take a closer look at him. After that, tap on his right nipple to examine it.

Select the “Paperclip” from the inventory and attach it to his nipple. After that, drag the “Paperclip” to the left.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Next, tap on the left nipple to examine it.

Select the “Clothespin” from the inventory and attach it to the nipple. After that, drag the “Clothespin” to the left.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

If you take a look at the wall above the door, you will notice the cable that leads to the room on the left. So, let’s go to the room on the left.

If you follow the cables, you will notice that the cable is broken. Let’s tap on it to take a closer look.

Select the “Iron wire” from the inventory and use it to reconnect the cable. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s follow the cable to the room on the right. We can see that the cable goes up, then turns right at the first intersection, then goes up again at the second intersection, and lastly, the cable turns to the right close to the ceiling and goes into the next room.

Let’s memorize/write down this information. Up/Right/Up/Left/Right. Once you’re done, tap on the electricity control panel to start the interaction.

Let’s set the switches to the positions that we just determined. So,

First switch = Up

Second switch = Right

Third switch = Up

Fourth switch = Left

Fifth switch = Right

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the previous room. Tap on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the shady character to take a closer look at him.

As soon as you enter into the small room, you will notice that we restored the power. In the top left corner of the room, you will notice the lever. Tap on the lever to electrocute the shady character.

Tap on the shady character again to start the interaction. Now, he is willing to talk. He will tell you that you can find the key behind the dead woman’s hand.

Tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Ok, let’s look for the dead woman. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

In the poster, we can see a dead woman. So, let’s tap on the poster to take a closer look at it.

Tap twice on the dead woman’s hand, and you will tear down that part of the poster.

Behind the poster you will find a “Locker key”. Tap on it to pick it up.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Tap on the lockers on the left to take a closer look at it. Select the “Locker key” from the inventory and use it to unlock locker number 8. After that, tap on the locker to open it.

In the locker, you will find a green suitcase. Tap on it and it will fall out of the locker. We will need a code consisting of four numbers in order to open the suitcase. So, let’s tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s look for the suitcase code. Tap twice on the arrow to go back to the room with the shady character.

Tap on the shady character to take a closer look at him. Tap on the arm on the left to take a closer look at his tattoos.

Here, we can see several tattoos, and numbers that are associated with each tattoo. Let’s memorize/write down this information. Here, we have

A heart pierced by an arrow = 6

A bone = 4

A dice = 4

An egg= 1

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Next, let’s take a closer look at the arm on the right.

Here, we can also see several tattoos, and numbers that are associated with each tattoo. Let’s memorize/write down this information. Here, we have

A flag = 3

A sword = 8

An anchor = 9

A flower = 5

A butterfly = 2

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the previous room. Tap on the arrow on the left.

If take a look at the top part of the cable, you will notice that it is broken. Let’s tap on it to take a closer look.

Select the “Piece of tape” from the inventory and use it to repair the cable. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

We can see that this part of the cable leads to the large light. Let’s follow the cable to this large light. We can see that the cable goes up, then turns right at the first intersection, then goes up again at the second intersection, goes up again at the third intersection, and turns right at the last intersection.

Let’s memorize/write down this information. Up/Right/Up/Up/Right. Once you’re done, tap on the electricity control panel to start the interaction.

Let’s set the switches to the positions that we just determined. So,

First switch = Up

Second switch = Right

Third switch = Up

Fourth switch = Up

Fifth switch = Right

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

We restored the power to the large light, and we can now see four pictures on the wall. Looking from right to left we have, a dog, an eagle, a boat, and a tree. Our task is to find a tattoo that can be associated with each symbol. Once we do that, we should write down the number of the tattoo, and that’s how we will get the code to open the suitcase.

So, we have

A Dog = A Bone = 4

An Eagle = An Egg = 1

A Boat = An Anchor = 9

A Tree = A flower = 5

Now, we have the code to open the suitcase, and it is “4195”. Memorize/write down this number. Once you’re done, tap on the arrow on the left to go back to the previous room. 

Tap twice on the green suitcase to start the interaction.

Enter the code “4195” and you will unlock the suitcase.

In the suitcase, you will find the “Golden timepiece”. Tap on it to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to Laura’s dark soul. Tap on the arrow on the right.

On the right side of the wall, you will notice three red symbols. Memorize/write down these symbols because we will need them to activate the “Golden timepiece”.

Once you’re done, tap on Laura’s dark soul to start the interaction.

Select the “Golden timepiece” from the inventory and give it to Laura’s dark soul. After that, tap on the “Golden timepiece” in Laura’s hand to start the interaction.

Tap on the symbols that you saw on the wall to activate the “Golden timepiece”. So, we should tap on,

The symbol in the bottom left corner,

The symbol in the top left corner,

Both symbols on the right side.

Once you tap on the correct symbols, tap on the “Golden timepiece” to start the interaction. The hour and minute hands on the clock will start rotating very fast. At the end of the interaction, the timepiece will break.

Tap on the “Golden timepiece” again to go back.

You will notice that Laura’s dark soul is gone. It is waiting for the train, so let’s go there. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

Tap on Laura’s dark soul to start the interaction. She will tell you that we can now leave this station because you found the timepiece.

Tap on the train door to board the train, and tap again to proceed to the next station.
