Underground Blossom Chapter 7 | The Lake

Hello everyone and welcome to the seventh chapter of our walkthrough for the “Underground Blossom” a puzzle-solving game developed by Rusty Lake – one of the most famous game developers in puzzle puzzle-solving genre. In this game, we follow Laura’s life, and the story in this part continues at “The Lake” station. At this point in time, Laura is represented as a dark shadow, but it seems that her condition started to improve once we found the timepiece.

Tap on the train door to open it, and tap again to go to get off the train. Let’s look for Laura. Tap on the arrow on the left.

Laura will tell you that she remembered and that she belongs in this place. She will also tell you that she remembered the “tree” and that you should look behind you.

Tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s look for the tree that Laura mentioned. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

You will see a small tree in the distance. Tap on it, several times, to approach it, then tap again to start the interaction. Two shadows will emerge behind the tree.

Tap on the shadow on the left, and you will see that the shadow is Laura’s mother.

Tap on Laura’s mother to talk to her. She will tell you,

“Finally you have found me.”

“I belong to the Lake now.”

“My past and future self.”

“My daughter, I know she can live another life”.

“She can still blossom.”

So, it seems that Laura’s mother was affected by some kind of curse, but she thinks that her daughter can still avoid that fate.

Next, tap on the shadow on the right, and you will see that the shadow is an older version of Laura’s mother.

Tap on Laura’s mother to talk to her. She will tell you,

“This is how I left the other world.”

“An old woman”.

“But I belong to The Lake now.”

“I am enlightened, a tree among others.”

“Help my daughter, she can still blossom.”

The wind will blow off leaves from the trees. Tap several times on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s look for Laura again. Tap twice on the arrow on the right.

Tap on Laura’s dark soul to start the interaction. It will change, representing all stages of Laura’s life, from a baby to a fully grown person, and finally to an old lady.

After a few cycles, the transition will stop, and you will see Laura in the present time, and she is a young woman.

Tap on Laura to talk to her. She will tell you,

“Finally I can see the blossom.”

“My mother, I know she is here for me.”

“I can live another life, without sorrow.”

“The Lake belongs to me.”

“My dear Harvey, take the train and find your own future.”

Laura told us that she could see the blossom, she knows that her mother is there for her, and unlike her mother, she said “The Lake belongs to me” (her mother said that she belongs to The Lake). So, we could say that we have a happy ending.

We also finally discovered the name of our character, Harvey. Now, our character should board the train and find his own future.

Tap on Laura several times to go back.

OK, let’s board the train. Tap once on the arrow on the left.

Tap on the train door to open it, and tap again to board the train.
