Underground Blossom Chapter 1 | Crib Station

Hello everyone and welcome to the first chapter of our walkthrough for the “Underground Blossom” a puzzle-solving game developed by Rusty Lake – one of the most famous game developers in puzzle puzzle-solving genre. In this game, we will follow Laura’s life, and the story will start at the “Crib Station” when she was still a baby. If you played the previous game, “The White Door” you probably remember Laura, because in that game she was Robert’s (main character) fiancé, and she tragically passed away…

In this game, we will see the rest of Laura’s life story. Every stage of her life is represented by one train station, and we will have to explore each station and solve numerous puzzles in order to progress to the next station, and the next stage of her life. 

At the start of the game, the train will arrive and it will stop in front of you. Tap on the train door to open it, and tap again to board the train.

After a short ride, we will get to the first station called “Crib Station”. In this part of the walkthrough, we will explore the early part of Laura’s life when she was a baby.

Tap on the train door to open it, and tap again to proceed outside to the “Crib Station”.

Tap on the woman in front of you to take a closer look at her, and tap again to start the interaction.

The woman will say that she is glad that you’ve come. Then, she will explain that Laura, her daughter, is in the baby stroller, and she wants you to take care of her.

Also, pay attention to the woman’s medallion because it will be important later during the walkthrough.

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom to go back.

Tap on the suitcase on the right to put it down, and tap again to take a closer look at it.

Next, tap on the left and right locks on the suitcase to unlock it, then tap on the suitcase again to open it.

In the suitcase, we will find “Matches” and a “Bottle of milk” so let’s tap on them to pick them up.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom to go back.

Let’s go to the next room. Tap on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the box on the right to take a closer look at it, and tap again to open it.

In the box, you will find “Cloth” and “Iron Saw” so tap on them to pick them up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom to go back.

Next, tap on the water drain grid on the left, to take a closer look at it.

Next, select the “Iron Saw” from the inventory and use it to cut the pipe on the left. After that, tap again to remove the pipe, and the “Rod” will be added to your inventory.

Next, select the “Rod” from the inventory and use it to hit the key, and it will bounce to the left.

We can now reach the “Key”, so tap on it to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Next, let’s go to the second room on the right (tap twice on the arrow on the right).

Next, tap on the ticket stand on the left, marked with number 1, to take a closer look.

Select the “Key” from the inventory and use it to unlock stand number 1 (tap one more time to turn the key). After that, drag up to open the stand.

The clerk is sleeping, so let’s wake him up. Select the “Rod” from the inventory and use it to smack the clerk on the head, several times. That should wake him up.

We woke up the clerk, so let’s tap on him to start the interaction.

Well, a ticket to the next station costs only one coin, but our character is completely broke, so we will have to come back, a bit later. For now, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the first area, where we met Laura’s mom. Tap on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the baby stroller to look inside. Here, we can see baby Laura. Drag down on the blanket to pull it down.

Let’s make an improvised diaper. Select the “Cloth” from the inventory and put it under the baby.

Above the baby, you will see the “Safety pin”. Tap on it to pick it up.

Next, select the “Safety pin” from the inventory and use it to keep the diaper in place.

Let’s feed the baby. Select the “Bottle with milk” from the inventory and use it to feed the baby.

The baby Laura was hungry, and she quickly drank the milk. Tap on the diaper several times, and Laura will poop her diaper. Tap on that diaper again to take it, and “Dirty diaper” will be added to your inventory.

After that, tap on the arrow in the lower left corner to go back.

Let’s go back to the room with the ticket stands. Tap on the arrow on the left.

Tap on the trash can on the right to take a closer look at it, then tap twice on the lid to open the trash can.

Select the “Dirty diaper” from the inventory and throw it into the trash can.

Next, select “Matches” from the inventory and use it to start a fire in the trash can. After that, tap on the can and it will fall apart.

When the trash can falls apart, you will see a scrapper that was previously hidden inside it. Tap on the “Scrapper” to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go to the second room on the right.

Here, you will see a “Win a trip to Rusty Lake” poster on the wall. Tap on it to take a closer look.

Select the “Scrapper” from the inventory and use it to remove a large chunk of the poster (tap several times).

Behind the poster, you will see the sentence “The future will arrive”. More importantly, below these words, you will see three symbols, two small ones on the left and a large one on the right. Memorize/write down these symbols because we will need them for the next puzzle (these symbols are a part of the symbol that we saw on the medallion that belongs to Laura’s mother).

Once you’re done, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to Laura and her mom. Tap on the arrow on the left.

Next, tap on the medallion to take a closer look at it, and tap again to start the interaction.

Let’s tap on the four symbols (four parts of the medallion) that we saw on the poster.

Once you tap on the correct four parts of the medallion, it will open and you will discover that it is actually a clock.

The time on the clock is 10:15. Memorize/write down this information. Once you’re done tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

We should now go to the room with the clock and set the time to match the time on the medallion. To get to this room, tap twice on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the clock to take a closer look at it.

Rotate the clock hands and set the time to 10:15.

A train will arrive at the station. Tap on the door to open it then tap on the ticket collector to start the interaction.

The ticket collector will ask for a ticket. Tap on the ticket collector’s chest pocket to open it, and tap again to collect a “Coin”.

After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back.

Let’s go back to the ticket stand. Tap on the arrow on the right.

Tap on the ticket stand to take a closer look at it, then tap on the clerk to start the interaction. The clerk will inform you that a ticket costs one coin.

So, select the “Coin” from the inventory and give it to the clerk.

Tap on the “Metro ticket” to pick it up. After that, tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen.

Let’s go back to the ticket collector. Tap on the arrow on the left.

Tap on the ticket collector to take a closer look at him and tap again to start the interaction. Select the “Metro ticket” from the inventory and give it to the ticket collector.

Tap on the device in the tax collector’s hand to open it, then drag the ticket to the device.

The ticket collector will wish you a nice journey. Tap on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to go back. The train door is now open, so tap on it to go into the train.

Tap on the door to close it, and tap again to start the train.
