Samsara Room | Part 1

Intro

Welcome to our walkthrough for the Samsara Room from Rusty Lake. In this very interesting game, you need to solve the puzzles while visiting your various past lives in the Samsara circle of life.

Walkthrough

1. Pick a candle from a flowerpot.
2. Go left. Note that you can reach any area of the room by going in either direction. You are going in circles.

Approach the chest.

Unlock the chest by rotating the wheels and removing the latches. Pick the 2nd candle from the chest.

Approach the drawers below the chest. Drag the drawer to open it.

1. Pick the 3rd candle.
2. Pick the fish.
3. Pick the knife.

Go to the mirror area. Approach the table.

Use a knife to open the envelope.

Drag the paper from the envelope and remember the words “Enlighten me”.

Pick up the phone.

Click on the letters to form the sentence “Enlighten me”.

The box of matches will fall to the table. Pick it up.

Go to the area where the window is. Approach tit.

Open the window and use a knife to cut the painting, then tear down the painting.

Place the 3 candles.

Use matches to light the candles. This will unlock the portal to your other past lives.

Place the fish on the plate to unlock access to your past life as a fish.

Click on the portal to go to the fish life.

Each time you enter the portal, you need to approach and enter the cube by clicking on it several times. When you enter the cube, you will enter another room where you lived a life of some other creature (this is not the official story, only my interpretation of this mysterious game).

1. In a fish life, approach the mirror and take the shell.
2. Go right until you reach the clock area.

Approach the glass bottle.

1. Break the glass by clicking on the already existing crack.
2. Take the 2nd shell.

When you break the glass, always click on the next intersection of cracking.

Go to the drawer area and approach the cucumber.

Press the growths on cucumber, the ones that are marked in the picture above. The 3rd shell will appear from the cucumber. Pick it up.

1. Approach the chest and pick the 4th shell.
2. Leave the area.

Go to the mirror area and approach the phone.

Click on the bubbles from left to right to get the words “Let it sink in”.

Click on a paper boat multiple times to unfold it.

Pick the key.

In the same area, approach the jar.

1. Use the key to open the display case.
2. Pick up the jar.

Go to the clock area and approach the nail on the clock.

Pull out the nails and pieces of wood from the clock until you reach a human hand. Give the hand your knife. In return, the hand will bring you a human heart. Take it.

Go to the window area and approach the window. Place all 4 shells to activate the portal.

Take the fish from the plate and place the heart on it. This will give access to the starting human life version of the room. Go through the portal.

When you return to the human life, go to the window/portal area and catch the gecko lizard from the wall using the jar.

1. Approach the portal. Grab the heart from the plate and place the gecko lizard. This will give you access to the lizard life room.
2. Go through the portal.

1. In the lizard life, pick the 1st marble from the flowerpot.
2. Go right.

Light the candles using the box of matches.

Once you light all the candles, a compartment will open. Pick the 2nd marble from it.

Go to the clock area and approach the left-most painting.

Pull the frame on one side by dragging it and then release it. The corner of the painting will come off. Tear up the painting. Pick the 3rd marble.

Approach the middle painting. Pay attention to the time upside down. This is 03:55.

Approach the clock.

Set the clock hands to show 03:55. Beware that the clock is upside down. When you solve this puzzle, pick the triangle key.

Go to the drawer area. Approach the bookshelf.

Pick the 4th marble.

Rearrange the books until the book marked on the picture above is in the middle. While doing this puzzle, you will see the placeholder where the book should be. After the book rearrangement, remove the marked book. This book will appear in the human life room.

Go to the window area and open the window.

Remove the gecko lizard and place the human heart on the plate. Go to the portal to reach the human life room.

Approach the book you pushed in the lizard life. Read the book and turn the pages. On the last page, remember the clue about the time on the clock.

Find the clock and approach it. Place the clock hands following the clue from the book. As a reward, you will get a 2nd triangle key.

Go to the window, take the human heart and replace it with a fish. Go to the portal.

In the fish life, approach the floating book. Remember the clue for the clock on the cover of the book.

Find the clock and move the clock hands to show the time like in the clue on the cover of the book. As a reward, pick the 3rd triangle key.

Find the window, take the fish and place the human heart, then enter the portal.

In human life, find the clock and approach it.

Place the 3 triangle keys you got and then press the orange button.

A human body will drop to the ground. Maybe your body from a previous life? Click on the hand and the hand will drop one plant seed to the ground. Pick it up.

Go to the mirror area and approach the flowerpot. Place the seed in the flowerpot.

Go to the window and replace the heart with the fish, then enter the portal.

In the fish life, use a jar to collect some water.

Return to the human life by replacing the fish with the human heart and enter the portal.

In human life, use the jar filled with water to water the plant in the flowerpot. The plant will grow.

On the window, replace the human heart with the gecko lizard and enter the portal.

In the lizard life, approach the flower.

Tear off the petals of the newly grown flower. Pick the worm.

Go to the window and replace the gecko lizard with the worm. Enter the portal. You will go to the worm life for the first time.

From the starting mirror area go right and you will be at the window area. Follow a petal and click on it several times. The petal will fall to the ground, near the drawer. Pick it up.

Go to the clock area and approach the clock.

Pick the knife.

Remove the pieces of wood and pick the 2nd petal.

In the window area, approach the book.

Lift up the pages until you see the 3rd petal. Unfortunately, you can’t grab it when you stop holding the pages.

Use the box of matches to hold the pages and then grab the 3rd petal. The matchbox will be automatically returned to your inventory.

Go to the mirror area and approach the phone.

Use a knife to unscrew the lid.

Move the pins on the left and the top and rotate the circles so that the buses are connected from one node on the bottom, to the other where the speaker is. The 4th petal will fall to the ground. Pick it up.

In the clock area, approach the head of the human body.

Open its mouth and enter.

Click on the little red circles. After you click the circle, go forward, deeper into the forest.

Approach the enigmatic clock and remember the symbols on the bottom and the Roman numerals above them. These symbols represent life aspects you already lived through.

Exit the body and go to the window area.

Place the four petals on the window to unlock the portal. Then, place the human heart on the plate and enter the portal.

In human life, approach the mirror.

Move the mirror slightly by dragging the screen until you see a symbol on the wall. Remember it.

Go to the fish life.

Approach the mirror, drag it until you find the symbol. Remember it or take a screenshot.

Go to the gecko lizard life.

Find the symbol there as well.

Go to the worm life.

Find the last symbol.

While in the worm life, return to the human body and enter its mouth. Go through the forest until you find the clock. Each hand of the clock represents one Roman numeral, and that Roman numeral represents one of the lives. Place the clock hands so that the life form corresponds to the symbol you saw in the mirror, while in that life form room. The solution is in the picture above. When you solve the puzzle, you will get an egg.

Go to the mirror and place the egg on the plate. Go through the portal to access the bird life.
