Escape Room: Mysteries School – Level 20
Intro
Welcome to our walkthrough for Level 20 for “Escape Room: Mysteries School” from “Ena Game Studio”. Help John renovate his old house and solve the mystery of the haunted abandoned school.
Walkthrough

- Take the flowerpot from the ground on the far end of the room.
- Take the box from the left table.
- Approach the chest on the floor on the right.

Rotate the two slides on the chest’s lock until you have two glowing symbols in the center. Afterwards, a new knob will appear. Move it to the right. That will unlock the chest.

Take the second box from the chest.

Tap on the arrow to go to the other part of the workshop.

- Take the trowel from the left desk.
- Approach the kiln. John will mention that it’s locked and that he needs to find a key. This will unlock some future interactions.
- Open the cabinet, and a mini-game will start.

In this mini-game, you’ll need to find six items. First, you’ll search for three items in a set and then three other items. Follow the markers in the pictures in this guide to find them all.


For the Rubik’s Cube, you’ll need to find the pieces of it first, tap on them all to assemble the cube, and then tap on the cube itself. Once you find all the items, the toy car with a magnet will be added to your inventory.

- Take the clay cup from the right desk.
- Open the toolbox.

Take the hex key and the bolt from the toolbox.

Approach the large metal box on the left desk and start its puzzle challenge.

To unlock the box, you’ll need to raise the middle pillar to press the red button on top. To raise it, you’ll need to tap other pillars to lower them. When you tap on a certain pillar, it will raise or lower several other pillars, but it won’t affect all of them. You’ll need to find the right sequence of interacting with the pillars to raise the middle pillar to the red button. When you complete this challenge, take the key from the box.

- Return to the kiln and unlock it with the key you just acquired. John will mention that he needs to make a fire in the kiln.
- Approach the middle drawer on the left and start its puzzle challenge.

This puzzle will be very simple. The node will go from the left slot to the right slot. All you need to do is whenever the node is blocked, you should tap/click on the next segment of the path, and the path will continue.

Once you unlock the drawer, take the crucible tong.

- Tap on the crucible tong in your inventory to examine it.
- Place the bolt.

Use the hex key on the bolt. Tap on the repaired crucible tong to return it to your inventory.

Return to the first area of the workshop and start a puzzle challenge for the box on the far side of the room, left of the window.

The three wheels will spin, and they each have fields of different colors and a pin of one specific color. Press the buttons to stop one of the wheels. Your goal will be to stop the wheel when the pin of a specific color is touching the same color on the wheel. Do this for all three wheels, and the box will open. Take the gasoline from the box.

Start the puzzle challenge for the box on the right shelf.

In this puzzle challenge, you’ll need to arrange the nodes in all columns to be in the same line. Use an arrow slider to select the column and the button to temporarily stop that column from spinning. Once you finish the puzzle, tap on the padlock icon on the right to unlock and open the box.

Take the copper bar from the box.

Approach the house model on the left desk.

Place the car toy with the magnet in front of the house model. A new mini-game will start.

- Move the car using the left and right arrow buttons. Watch out for the spikes
- Use levers to disable spikes or to move the platform up or down.

At the end of the path, you will find a key. A special button will appear to use the magnet. Tap on it and grab the key. Afterwards, you’ll need to return to the starting location, and then the key will be added to your inventory.

Use the key you just got to unlock the chest on the upper-right shelf. Take the lighter from the chest.

- Return to the second area of the workshop and pour the gasoline into the firewood in the kiln.
- Use the lighter to burn the firewood.

When the fire starts, place the clay cup near the kiln.

- Use a crucible tong to hold the clay cup.
- Place the copper bar into the clay cup.

John will melt the copper. Tap on the cup of melted copper to add it to your inventory.

Tap on the flowerpot in your inventory to examine it. Place the box next to the flowerpot. Use the trowel to move the mud from the flowerpot into the box.

Tap on the mud box to add it to your inventory. Repeat the same process for the second box and add it to your inventory.

Tap on the mud box that has a plus sign in your inventory to examine it.

Place the keys near the mud box.

Tap on the keys one by one, and John will place them on the mud in the box.

Place the second mud box on top of the other.

After a few seconds, remove all the keys.

Use a trowel to make holes in the mud.

Pour the melted copper into the holes in the mud.

Take the unshaped keys from the mud box.

Approach the key-cutting machine on the left.

- Place the first key. Use the right lever to start the machine.
- Use the left lever to lower the key-cutting machine and shape the key.
- Pick up the finished key and repeat the process for all the keys.
After you finish, a new cutscene will begin, and John’s car will be stuck in the mud in the middle of the forest.

- In the forest, collect the two wooden boards from the ground, near the right tree.
- Approach the house in the distance and collect the glass piece from the stairs.
- Approach the tied wood.

Use the glass piece to cut the rope, then take the four pieces of rope.

Take two more wooden boards from the ground, near the house.

Place the wooden boards beneath all four car wheels, one board per car wheel.

Tie the boards and wheels with the ropes. John will manage to move the car out of the mud.
